Look out world! A great representation of their relationship. Dear Elvis, I don't know how to say goodbye to you, so I will instead tell you how loved you were. You were a great friend to me, endlessly patient and loving. When we lost your mom, you were the one who sat in my arms catching the tears in your fur. I often stood and watched you because you reminded me of her. The unending trust, the way you slept with your head on it's side, the way you hated your hair to be fussed with, and the way you always seemed to know when I needed a little snuggle. We spent countless hours together when I couldn't sleep. The insomnia didn't seem so bad during those times. I don't know how SmartyPants will manage but I promise that I will be there for him. I've never seen two pigs more bonded. I know it will be hard for him without his brother, best friend and protector. He and I spent many nights worried about you when you were sick but we never gave up. There were times when the vet thought you would do better without Pants there when you were hospitalized and hooked up to IV's. You showed them, didn't you. They were worried he would pick on you, I never worried because I understood that you boys found strength in each other. You have both gone through awful illnesses and recoveries with the other by your side. You were so loved my sweet boy.

I long ago learned to judge their lives not in years but in the happiness they bring and the love they inspire in the time we're given with them.
Elvis knew love and happiness his entire life, and that is so much more than so many, Sabrina.
I know it's impossible not to be sad when they pass, but I hope you can take comfort in the extraordinary love he brought to your life while he was with you.

I am so sorry for you and SmartyPants. I know how hard this is.
I often remind myself at times like this that our pigs were so lucky to have owners that go above and beyond and never look at them as "disposable".
Elvis was cared for like a child. He was truly a lucky boy and felt love, warmth and security.

He was such an incredible little guy. You took exceptional care of him, Sabrina, you truly did. He was so lucky to have had such a loving, happy home with you. I know he'll always hold a very special place in your heart.
Take care of yourself, okay? Thinking of you...

Thank you, guys. I can't tell you how much it means to come here and know you'll be supportive. You're all great friends.
Whenever Mike went with us to the vet, he would proudly tell whoever was in the room, "You know he's not some ordinary Elvis, he's Elvis Parsley.". He always got a kick out of it.
