In late October, my vet had 14 pigs dropped off by a woman who had been a breeder for Petco/Petsmart and had gone out of "business." They asked if I could take any of them and so I decided to take three of the baby boys and the adult male. Here they are! Herbert (Herbie): He's the youngest of the four, at probably around 2 months now. Gulliver, the daddy pig, also known as Mr. Personality: He's about 2 years old. Oscar: Probably around 4-5 months old. And his brother, Templeton: And the cages I made for them. I told my husband they were "temporary" but that's not likely. I had a ridiculously hard time finding safe grids in stores so they got multi-colored grids that I got from visiting several Goodwill stores. The bases are made from the Target grids that have spaces too big to be safe.

Gulliver loves you too, seffy!
I'm definitely glad I got them, although I was worried at first.

Wow, they're so cute! I especially like Herbie, beautiful coloring. Oscar looks like a timid little guy and he reminds me of a yam. ;D

Oscar is definitely the most shy Sabrina. And he does look like a yam. Or a sweet potato. ;D They're such good boys. Herbie lives with his dad and it's hysterical watching him copy absolutely everything Gulliver does. Two perfect examples (from the day I brought them home, they were still in a pet store cage):

Is Templeton a silky, Paula? They're all so cute. We really do need more pictures, though... (And be sure to put their birthdays on the list, if you haven't already )

I do think Templeton might be a silkie. He definitely shines unlike any pig I've seen before.
