Anybody have a chirper? I have several, and would like to know if anybody knows what it means. I've heard extreme happiness, to loneliness, to fear.

I don't, but I always wondered if it has anything to do with breeding-?

My Cocoa is a chirper. It's usually early in the morning. She did it a lot more when she was a pup. The entire herd freezes when she starts up and they don't move until she stops. I wondered who it was for a while. I launched a stealth mission and crawled into the room on my belly to see who it was.

My Chompsky & Oppenheimer are chirpers, both boys, not neutered. I've caught other boys doing it too, but never seen the girls do it, though that doesn't mean they haven't, I just haven't caught them doing it. I wonder if it might have to do with breeding too. If they are doing it because they are upset, I just want to make sure and fix whatever it is that's so troubling to them, but so far no one will tell me why they're doing it. They are quite a secretive lot, I must say.

I have had both baby and adults, male and females that chirp.
I have no clue what it means either but it only happens at night.
If anyone finds out what it means let me know too.

Lady Bug would chirp occasionally. She didn't care if I was in the room or not. She would just stand there with a slight trance-like expression on her face and chirp away. It would last just a few minutes. She was in no pain or hungry or scared or anything else. Just chirping away

You'd recognixe it if you ever heard it. It sounds exactly like a medium size bird is in your house chirping away ;D
