Any suggestions on this? We adopted little Barnaby a few weeks ago, and I have been waiting until he got a little bigger before introducing him to one of our adults. The problem is that the two adults I'm considering both live in a Midwest Habitat cage. I'm a little worried about the spacing on the bars.
What do you guys think?

Chicken wire does work, but you have to be careful and make sure you secure every pokey on the ends of it. If there's even one pokey, the guinea pigs will find it and injure themselves. There are other cages with small spaces in them that you might be able to get second hand, take apart and piece together to the sides of your Midwest Habitat Cage.
