Our vet tech just stopped by to drop off Harold's precious ashes. Sef is so relieved he's back with us.

I'm sorry you guys lost Harold. There's a bit of comfort in knowing that you gave him a fabulous life and now that he has been returned home, you can forever honor him. This is what I did for Scruffy.

Aw, that is nice. We usually get ours back in a little velvet pouch like that, but this was a different company and they put Harold's cremains in a little tin box with paws on it. I honestly thought I'd be a mess when we got him back, but it has actually been oddly comforting to me. Miss my very, very special boy. I'm not quite ready to be able to post a tribute to him.

The velvet bag is what the seeds for his wildflowers came in. His ashes are in the small wooden urn. When the time comes, you will be able to give Harold a great eulogy. It's not easy when we lose our furry family members. It really helped me having Mr Bubbles, Sammy and Dean to get through the loss. Putting up that shrine where I can look at it also helped. Sending you comforting thoughts.

Harold will always be with you both! Look into your hearts and there you'll find him. He is running around popcorning and chasing the girls. Sending big hugs.
