2 boys in the house!

Today I met up with a critter Corral foster and picked up 2 boys, Nacho and Chip, for my friend here in Springfield. We are helping her build a cage an I am educating her on proper care.

Of course, she did not get enough coroplast so we could only build half of he base. Hopefully the sign store is opened tomorrow.

But, Nacho and Chip were 2 of the piggies from the 70+ rescue in Indiana. They are supposely over a year old but I weighted them when I got home with them. Chip is 658g and Nacho is a little pigger at 789g. They seem very small for 1 year old boys.

They have been eating non-stop since they got here. They are very cute. Ted wants to keep Chip but I told him no. They love to cuddle up in the same cozy and they are popcorning. I have them in my quarantine cage until I can move them to their new forever home.

They sound lovely, your friend must be very excited! She is lucky she has a friend like you who can help her out with this.

She is excited. Her sons birthday is today. He is 13. He has been asking for guinea pigs. And now, she already knows that he will probably lose interest. She is thinking of the boys as HER pigs.

She didn't get enough coroplast so we are hoping the sign store is opened today since its Columbus Day. I would really like to get the cage finished today. Her son is with his dad until tonight. The piggies are a surprise.

Well, Nacho and Chip are in their new home. Ted and I get unlimited visiting rights! I am going to go over in a couple of weeks and teach here how to do nail clips.
