I have four boys: Dexter, Franklyn, Elijah and Errol. Elijah and Errol are still at the rescue, they were due to arrive here yesterday but circumstances changed and it'll be another 1-2 weeks before they arrive. Here are my lovely snugglebug boys. Beware, Franklyn is a hugely expressive piggie. I have had some posers, and some fairly colourful characters, but none come close to the incredible personality and charm of Frankie! Dexter Franklyn I love all my pigs, of course, but the boys just have something, somehow my boys manage to just wriggle their way into my heart just that little bit more. I shouldn't have favourites, but the boys are always at the top!

Oh, look at those handsome boys! I love Dexters colors, and Frankie looks expressive indeed (look at that widdle face!). ;D

I was thinking about you and Alice on Friday as well, was looking out to see if she had arrived yet. Wouldn't it be funny if Alice, Elijah and Errol all arrived at their new homes on the same day! Thank you Sandy, and Jenn.

The boys do definitely just have something. They seem to be more appreciative in general.
Franklyn is adorable. Red pigs are awesome!

"Aw, come on...do I have to?" "Like this?" "What not good enough? Do I have to do the eyes as well as the lips? Am I cute enough now?" I need to try and capture him on audio or video. He's is a very vocal pig, mutters about everything, he never shuts up most of the time! Yet when I get the video camera out he goes quiet. One day I will catch him out... You should also know that this is a pig who would rather run around and play, than eat his veggies. Given a choice, he will ignore the food. I tell you, he is weird. I got him from Wood Green Animal Shelter on 29th October last year, so he is coming up to his 1 year anniversary here. The shelter said he was 4-6 years, possibly even older as he was very sedate and quiet. They almost had him PTS as he had some "mystery illness" and he had bad problems with impaction when he was first neutered there. He had been in rescue for a while I think, I forget how long, but he had a rough time health wise when he was there. That is partly what endeared me to him...offer me a healthy baby pig or an elderly or poorly one, I'll take the elderly or poorly one! Even now, a year on, I can only assume that the shelter must have been talking about a different pig, given just how far out their character assessment was. He is not even remotely sedate, nor is he at all quiet. He is the noisiest and most playful of all my pigs, some of whom are still rather young!

Love the pictures of him. What an expressive face. the first one looks like he was found doing something he shouldn't!
