I thought it would be fun to have an ongoing thread with random cute/fun piggie pictures. It can be past or present guinea pigs. Wow, these are adorable pictures! Great thread too, there's no way you can look at these without smiling.  Kumar doing what he does best.  My Gracie Lou showing off her supermodel feets. She was such a pretty girl.  My dear Percy is his beloved fluffy hat. |

Hmm are they really that much bigger than normal pigs? They eat unlimited hay almost unlimited veggies plus fresh grass and oxbow/mazuri timothy pellets.

Mine are only 2lb 1oz (Sierra), 2lbs 5oz(Guinness) and 2lbs 14oz(Cassanova). Mine must have dwarfism or something.

I think yours are normal size.
My other 4 are about 1 and 1/2 to 2lbs.
Chocolate, Boomer, and Lion are siblings so I think the size is hereditary. I have a feeling that Jackson and Moogle probably came from the same breeding mill/ petstore as those 3s' parents did.
After seeing so many pigs in the rescue and all the pigs at the petstore there in VA I am positive 95 percent of the pig population came from the same place. Or maybe not but it would be hard to convince me otherwise. LOL
