I swear, I'm almost done! We adopted Dexter after losing Percy. It was a bitter-sweet decision for me. I had fought for 4 long months to make Percy better and when he died, it broke my heart into a million pieces. Cocoa was grieving and she needed someone. We took her to the rescue, so she could pick out someone she liked. We were hoping she would hit it off with a certain pig. Well, 5 second into the intro, she had a mouthful of his fur. We tried everyone in the rescue, Dexter was the last one. It wasn't love at first sight but she didn't launch into kill mode, so we thought it was worth a try. Once home, it was like they had been together for years. Dexter instantly took on the "protector" role for Cocoa. If you want to get her, you have to go through him. He has some serious health issues, mainly heart conditions. He is a wonderful pig and though I wasn't as quick to bond with him as I should've been, he waited for me. I will always regret not trying to bond with him quicker but will always be grateful that he is here. Grr, I resized this on photobucket, I don't know why it's this big.

He is a sweet boy, he's very affectionate. He always gives me "night-night kisses" before bed.
He loves to sleep outside Cocoa's cozy. It makes me smile when I see him doing that. He's never far away from her. I don't mean to brag too much but I think he has soulful eyes.
